КРАСНОДАР

Краснодар раскинулся на правом берегу Кубани. Город утопает в зем ни, в нём нет плотной застройки. Он образовался ешё в конце XVIII в но начал быстро расти только после окончания Кавказской войны. В 186 г. Краснодар получил статус города.

Построен Краснодар по единой прямоугольной планировке, заложен ной ешё в екатерининские времена. Это крупный промышленный и кул( турный центр с населением более 640 тыс. жителей. Здесь свыше 200 прел приятии машиностроения, станкостроения, нефтепереработ^ текстильной и лёгкой промышленности; 5 высших учебных заведений, 4 тс атра, более 90 библиотек, художественный и краеведческий музеи.
